about us

Most people think movement is about geography — a new city, a new job, a new relationship. But what if movement was deeper than that? What if the real work was about coming back into alignment with who you were created to be?

The Nomad Collection was created for that exact reason.
For the people in transition — emotionally, spiritually, physically.
For the ones who are tired of survival mode, who feel stuck in a life they didn’t fully choose, who know they were meant for more… but can’t quite see what more looks like yet.

This isn’t about escaping your life. It’s about realigning it.

At the heart of it all is a simple truth:
Movement without direction delays fulfillment.
And you deserve to feel fulfilled. Not someday — now.

Whether you’re:

  • Wrestling with burnout and trying to function through the fog,

  • Staring down a big move or exit decision,

  • Craving a quiet reset that doesn’t uproot your whole life, or

  • Just done with performing and ready to be honest…

There’s a collection for that.

Nervous Nomad. Tired Nomad. Mini Nomad. Canadian Nomad.
Each one is designed to meet you where you are and offer practical, soul-centered tools for your next step.

And all of it leads back to one goal:
Helping you come home to yourself — wherever in the world you may be.

You don’t need a new passport.
You need a new alignment.

Welcome to The Nomad Collection.

Your next move starts here.

Hey, I’m Cara Layne — also known as The Alignment Auntie.

I walked away from a career that looked great on paper but left me depleted, disconnected, and deeply off course. I had the titles, the degrees, the structure — but not the peace. What followed was a full dismantling of the life I had built… and a slow, intentional rebuild from the inside out.

That personal reset became the foundation for The Nomad Collection.

I hold a Master of Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and I’ve spent the last decade weaving together evidence-based insight, spiritual truth, and lived experience into tools that actually help people move forward. My work is rooted in nomad psychology, life design, and kingdom principles — but it’s also informed by years of living in and navigating different systems, cities, and countries around the world.

From classrooms to cross-continental transitions, I’ve seen how powerful it is when people reclaim their agency. And I know what it’s like to feel lost inside a life that’s technically “working.”

Now, I help others disrupt that autopilot cycle and step into something better — a life marked by clarity, alignment, and fulfillment. Because alignment doesn’t just happen — you have to create it.
